| Anyone visiting this part of Umbria or southern Tuscany is strongly recommended to set aside at least one day to visit Perugia and to explore its art and architecture, most notably the Perugino frescoes. The ambience of the town is also very pleasant and the large number of students means there is a more youthful atmosphere in the evenings that is commonly the case in the hill towns of Umbria.
