Book records in numerous database formats are uploaded and indexed daily. The indexing system is highly sophisticated allowing a wide variety of specialised searches. One or more images can be linked to a book record. These are automatically thumbnailed and viewed as popups. This allows fast download of search results with the option to see a full-sized image of the book, maps or print. The Bookbase web site is accessible in four languages. Booksellers listing on the Bookbase are provided with a search interface for their own web site that lists their books only.
